Quilt Highlights.

This fabulous top was donated by Jo Lewis from Qld and it measures 60 x 80 inches with 117 blocks. Each block measures 4 inches and consists of tiny scraps of fabric, some sewn randomly and others pieced in a pattern.

These are known as "crumb" blocks and, having made lots of these in the past, but mine were 6 inches, I know how much time and effort was put into creating this fantastic top.

Some of the blocks were colour themed and others were random and there's little pieces of focus fabric making an I Spy type quilt.

The beautiful quilt below was donated by Prue Hamilton and the Moonie Valley U3A group. They challenged themselves to use orphan blocks and multiple scraps and produced a fabulous quilt to donate.

I'm amazed at the time and effort that our generous members put into their wonderful donations,  whether quilting, sewing, knitting or crocheting, which all help those in our communities who are in need of support .

Many thanks everyone for your hard work and sharing your talents.

Hugs, Jan Mac
