More Donations Arrive.

Ann Grant from NSW is a long term supporter of Oz Comfort Quilts and she has very generously donated 2 beautiful quilts as well as 4 beanies.
Jacqui Piper of Qld, has very generously donated 6 quilts  and a beautiful seahorse cot sized top. Three of the quilts have boy themed fabric which will be very popular with young boys into skate boards etc.

Anne-Marie Ward from W.A. is another long time supporter of Oz Comfort Quilts and she has been very busy and sent 19 QAYG blocks, 25 crocheted squares  and a large number of orphan blocks.
Today I was busy pinning tops, quilting and binding so I will have more finishes to share tomorrow. I'm also making up kits of blocks as I have some sewing angels who are helping me by piecing tops from donated blocks, leaving me to concentrate on the quilting.
Many thanks for your help everyone.

Platypus Patchers from Tasmania.

The Platypus Patchers of Tasmania are a group of 12 quilters who have supported Oz Comfort Quilts' quilt appeals in the past and they have very generously donated more quilts this time.
Marlene King sent the first 2 lovely quilts shown here and I love the effect of machine appliqueing the burgundy strips on the first quilt.
Lynn Archer made the next 2 quilts and the colours are lovely.

Diane Muir donated the blue machine embroidered quilt and also 4 tops, some orphan blocks and binding.
Margo Barber sent the next 2 lovely quilts and they will also be such lovely quilts to donate.

So many quilters are generously donating their beautiful quilts to our bushfire quilt drive and it will really help the communities to know that they haven't been forgotten as they recover and rebuild their homes. Thank you all on their behalf.

Fabulous Arrivals.

I'm very aware that I am repeating myself with my descriptions of the fabulous quilts , tops and blocks that are arriving for our bushfire quilt drive but really they are beautiful, fabulous and every superlative you can think of. I'm lucky to see them up close and we have very talented quilters donating their quilts.
This first fabulous quilt was donated by Anne Wilson from Vic and I love the dolls appliqued across the middle.
Dolores Sedore from Canada very generously donated 4 beautiful tops as well as fabric for binding.

Jo-anne Starr donated this beautiful large quilt as well as the very striking top shown below,  and $100 towards costs of batting and backing.

Michelle Bardwell from Vic donated these 2 kid's quilts in bright colours as well as green binding fabric, 3 orphan blocks and 13 QAYG blocks.

I also received a very generous donation of $100 AU from JeaniePayment from the US to help buy batting. Thank you so much Jeanie for supporting our bushfire quilt drive.
These 2 precious boys have started to play together which is lovely to see and they both love playing with the pegboard game made by Jo B .
