Goings

Last week was very busy with packing over 20 boxes of beautiful quilts, baby play mats, hand knits for babies, and household linen, as well as new books for children. 

Mums Supporting Families in Need are similar to St Kilda Mums and both agencies supply goods as requested by professionals, such as social workers, working directly with those in need. They report a 30 to 40 % demand since the pandemic. They sent a courier and we donated 160 quilts, 15 baby play mats and 8 knitted/crocheted blankets.

I still have quilts on hand, and continue to finish off more donated tops and blocks so the numbers of quilts to donate will continue to grow.
