More Donations Arrive.

I feel very blessed and incredibly grateful for the generous support and donations from so many quilters and another parcel has arrived from Mary Anne Rooney (Vic), containing 5 beautiful quilt tops.

The first one shown above was donated by a friend of Susan Iacuone (Vic) and it's been basted to backing and batting, just needing to have the applique pieces stitched to the top, then quilted and finished. 

Mary Anne made 2 of the lovely tops and her lovely Mum and a friend each donated a top too.

It seems like spring is on the way and my standard rose bushes have survived my severe pruning which is a relief. I'm hoping that the more extensive pruning will prevent them bending with the weight of the foliage when being drenched by rain and still give us plenty of blooms.
