My lovely friend, Carleen Richardson, from Tasmania, very kindly came well out of her way to deliver all if these fabulous donations from very generous Tasmanian quilters. As well as receiving so much support from quilters it was lovely to see Carleen again after a long time and spend some time catching up again. There were so many donations from Tasmania that it will take some time to document and photograph everything but I will share as soon as possible.
This beautiful string pieced quilt and the following 3 lovely quilts were generously donated by Pauline Duhig from Tasmania.
Karen Bennett from Qld sent the 3 fabulous quilt tops with matching binding.
Jacqy Wong from Vic has been very busy making more QAYG blocks and sent 40 this time.
Jennifer Moore (Vic) made 48 of these beautiful QAYG blocks.
Anne Cocks (Vic) donated this lovely quilt as well as a fleece blanket and 2 lovely crocheted blankets.
Diane Geale (Tas) donated a large bag of fabric and some beautiful stitchery blocks to make a lovely quilt.
Fran Williams and Jo Sharman (Tas) donated 2 large bags of fabric, backing fabric and a large bag of heart blocks.
Lesley Rosevears (Tas) donated a large bag of fabric and a large number of blocks.
George Town Quilters donated a large bag of backing fabric.
Kerri Davis ( Tas) donated 2 bags of fabric, and Wendy Fittler (Tas) also donated a bag of fabric.
Patty McNamara (Vic) has made a lovely top from donated oriental squares and enough binding for 2 quilts, and Fiona Lazenby from Vic has again very generously made another large pile of quilt labels.
Beth Barr (Tas) donated a large bag of threads and 4 beautiful embroidered blocks for a quilt.
I feel so blessed to have such wonderful support with this big bushfire quilt drive . Especially as I'm hearing of more areas which have lost so much in the bushfires and it's going to be a very big job to cover everyone and I couldn't manage without all of your support.
