An Outpouring of Support.

I feel so blessed to have so much support from quilters around Australia and internationally with more fabulous quilts arriving for our bushfire quilt drive.
Lorraine Lowe (Qld) sent 6 fabulously different quilts in bright colours and for different age groups and they are going to be treasured.

Lyn Duhig (Vic) donated the next 3 fabulous quilts in bright colours and also in a variety of styles and for different age groups. They all look wonderful and will put much needed smiles on faces.

Maria Bertossi (Vic) donated the next 2 beautiful quilts and their lovely soft colours will make new houses feel like home.

Luisa Gubiani (Vic) has very generously donated another 3 beautiful quilts and their lovely bright colours will brighten their new homes.

Jeanette House (Vic) donated 7 fabulous quilts, all very different and for different ages and genders.

Jeanette also sent a QAYG block and a set of blocks to make another lovely quilt. I have more to share as well as quilts I have finished.
I'm sorry Linda, I forgot to tell you what size to make for smaller tops.  About 40 x 55 inches is probably a good size.  Our beautiful grandsons and their parents are on their way to Hawaii to meet their other grandmother who lives in the US.  They were supposed to leave yesterday but Jake tried to run off in the airport and dislocated his elbow by trying to twist away from his parent's hold on his hand. There was some drama and a trip to hospital in an ambulance, while we drove to the airport to pick up our DD and baby Aidan. Luckily it was easily relocated at the hospital and they decided to stay the night at one of the airport's hotels and they left this afternoon. Jake was a handful due to the drugs they gave when they relocated his elbow and he was hanging upside down in my arms, squeeling and waving to people.  Luckily the boys slept and got onto the plane without further problems.

We're going to miss them terribly but I am going to use the time to quilt as many tops as possible and hopefully start visiting the affected areas to start distributing the quilts.
   Hugs, Jan Mac

Thanks for the dimensions, Jan. You have some superb quilts. You will enjoy distributing them. Hope Jake is feeling better, must have been very frightening for you all.
