On Sunday 8th of June we took a walk back into our pasts by re-visiting places we had known well during our previous visit, living and working, in London. Ray had played two cricket seasons here in 1968 and 1969. I emailed his old club and arranged to meet up with his old team members. We met up at the club rooms and it was great for Ray to be able to reminise about some very good times from his time in London.
From there we took the train to where he lived in Ealing and it brought back lots of happy memories for him.
On our way back to King's Cross Station we stopped off at Earl's Court to see where I had stayed when I worked in London, at the Harley Street Clinic, in 1976. We were both happy that we were able to find these places without a map and just relying on our memories.
Hugs, Jan Mac
