I had 2 day's of classes, yesterday and today, with Marina Landi, among award winning quikt artist from Brazil. This fabulous quilt is based on a photo of an elderly Balinese woman.
The details are incredible and it's very vibrant in real life.
I worked on an AI generated image using a collage technique.
Today I worked on another piece "Blue Girl". I also learnt quite a lot about the techniques of drawing my own pattern, based on my photos and travels.
It was lovely to spend time working on different creative ideas but I'm going to be back sorting and packing quilts again tomorrow.
