Wrapping Things Up.

I've been busy getting donations packed and delivered before the organisations close down for their summer break and I visited Reaching Out Because We Can (ROBWC), on Monday to deliver 2 quilts, 4 blankets, school supplies, new clothes, a large number of toys and 35 items of clothing from Uniforms 4 Kids Victoria.

Then just after that delivery we received a car load of new and used uniforms donated by one of the private schools so I made another delivery to  ROBWC of teddy bears, as well as a large amount of new and gently used clothing.  ROBWC is closed for all of January so I wanted to get as many donations to them as possible before they close.

I'm also busy stitching cloth feature fabric over logos on the donated school uniforms as well as upcycling the obsolete uniforms donated by Ambulance Victoria.

Sophie, our precious granddaughter, loves playing with my container of hexagons and lays them out on the floor, telling me she's making a brachiosaurus.
She's 2 and a half now, has toilet trained herself and is growing up way to quickly. We're enjoying all the time we spend with our grandchildren and we love watching their little personalities develop.

I'm trying to clear the house of donations in preparation for Christmas, as well as finishing off some knitting and donated UFOs. Thankfully I never get bored or run out of things to do, but I'm taking a break in January so I can refresh for a busy year in 2024.

Hugs, Jan Mac xx
