995 Quilts For 2022

Happy New Year everyone . Let's hope that this year brings good health and many blessings for all of us. I've had another respiratory infection since Christmas day so I have been taking things quietly. There's been a bit of cleaning in the sewing room and I have started making more drawstring bags and Santa Sacks from fabric instead of putting it away. We've also been spending lots of time with our precious grand children and family.

I have calculated the total number of quilts distributed and it was an incredible 995 quilts for 2022, as well as 292 knitted/crocheted blankets, 100s of Santa Sacks, drawstring bags,  hand knitted garments, library bags, soap pouches etc. What a wonderful result for our Oz Comfort Quilts group and supporters.  We've been generously supported by our members as well as individual quilters, quilting groups, knitters and crocheters.
Just take a moment to think of how many people have benefited from your generous gift of time and talents. We couldn't manage without your contribution and support.
We're going to be busy running the quilt drive for the flood affected areas in northern Victoria so I will be busy quilting again now the festive season has finished.
Enjoy your summer break everyone.
Hugs, Jan Mac

That's so wonderful to read of the amazing numbers of donated items that pass through your hands. And I know that you finish off a lot of them yourself. Congratulations for all the great work you do, and Happy New Year to you and your family.
