The first beautiful quilt was made by Sharon Siacci from Beyond Meander Quilting , and using the Mystery quilt design by Alison Kennedy-Cooke for SCQuilter's recent retreat. It's a very pretty quilt and will go to a young girl in foster care.
Lynn Barker from NSW has sent another large parcel containing 4 beautifully crocheted blankets and 2 packs of charm squares fabric.
Sue Shears from NSW has sent a large parcel containing 3 beautiful quilts as well as 7 lovely quilt tops to make more lovely quilts for people in need of comfort.

What a lovely collection of donations. All will give pleasure to the recipients. I used to love to support your great causes ( from here in the UK and when we lived part of the year in NZ). Unfortunately the cost of postage has gone ever higher so I make quilts and baby clothes for Local and UK charities but I do miss sending to you, especially crochet squares and QAYG String blocks! Happy days, good memories!
