Last Delivery for 2021 and Thanks to Lexie and Suzannah.

These fabulous quilts arrived in the last few days and they have now been delivered to Backpacks 4 Vic Kids and Mums Supporting Families in Need.  Both groups distribute donations through referrals from Case Managers and Social Workers.
Suzannah Richardson (Vic) donated the first 13 fabulous quilts in a variety of colours and sizes. I must apologise as the photos don't always reflect how brand colourful the quilts are in reality,  especially if it's cloudy day.

Lex Collins (Vic) donated the next 6 beautifully made quilts which will be loved by their recipients.

I packed boxes yesterday and we loaded up the sleigh (Jeep) to make our last deliveries for this year before the organisations close for donations.
We delivered 66 quilts,  47 more Santa Sacks, lots of beautifully hand knitted items , Christmas gifts, household linen, clothes, knitted/crocheted blankets,  toiletries,  masks, a stroller, and lots of teddy bears in their little jumpers.

I will post an update of totals delivered soon and would prefer if you hold off posting donations until the end of January as most organisations are closed for donations until they re-open in February.  However, if you're out our way I'm  happy for you to drop off donations and save you another trip.

I will still be quilting tops and knitting as well as making 3 Christmas stocking and a Santa Sack for family, as well as 2 quilts for a great niece and great nephew. I will also give an update for some ideas of what you can work on if you have time.

Many thanks everyone.

Hugs, Jan Mac xx

You do so much wonderful work, with your own sewing and knitting, as well as coordinating all the donations you receive. All these items will certainly be well received and bring a smile to the faces of those who open their parcels. Merry Christmas to you and your family, take some time out for yourself now for a while.
