Before we left Bhutan we visited the National Museum and the Fort. They were interesting but I also enjoyed just sitting in the sun with my knitting rather than spending too long in the Museum. It was very dark inside and difficult to see all the steps.
This was my view over the town of Paro and the glimpses of the snow capped Himalayas was lovely. Some Indian tourists came over to watch me knitting and then asked to have their photo taken with me. It was nice to just take a break and then we travelled until 8.30 at night to cross over the border into India again.
Yesterday was a long day but today will be easier with only 3 hours to travel and then a flight back to Kolkata.
