This Week's Wrap

I always try to finish as many of my UFOs as possible from Christmas until about the first 2 weeks of January.  These will be donated too so it gives me a hwad start on donation quilts as well as clearing things out of tubs. The green quilt was a set of blocks that I assembled and finished.

The other 3 quilts were donated quilt tops.

I also finished off 3 knitted scarves for donation.
yesterday Vicki Anceschi drove across to pick up our donations for Big Group Hug.  We gave 24 knitted/crocheted blankets,  70 large drawstring bags,  6 extra large drawstring bags,  28 teddies, boxes of handknits including jumpers, beanies and scarves,  pencil cases with pencils and toiletries.

It looks like being another busy year and we still need to support our usual organisations as well as the Quilt Drive for the bushfire affected areas so we'll be busy quilting every moment we get. Many thanks to the very generous supporters who donated batting and money to buy batting.  It's  really appreciated.

Hugs, Jan Mac xx
