The Weekly Wrap.

It's been another productive week and I have quilted all of these donated quilt tops,  crocheted a blanket, joined 4 smaller blankets together to make one larger blanket,  knitted 2 baby's jackets,  4 pair of booties and 2 jumpers for teddy bears.

I still have lots of donated tops to finish so it's good to make so much progress.

The Weekly Wrap.

I've had another productive week and finished off these donated quilt tops.
I pieced and quikted the pink star top from donated blocks.

There's a few more that I have quilted but I still need to finish their binding so that will be a job for next week.

Donations To Palliative Care Units.

Yesterday the staff member of the Alfred Hospital's Palliative Care Units picked up 28 quilts and 20 knitted/crocheted blankets for their clients.  They were almost out of quilts and blankets and they were thrilled to receive more. Their patients really appreciate the comfort provided by the quilts and blankets and the staff also love to see how their patients respond to them.

The nurse said that their indigenous patients have really appreciated the quilts with Australian/aboriginal themed fabric so I will see if I have more tops or fabric to provide them with more.

Many thanks everyone for your generous donations and support.
