Delivery Day.

Yesterday was a big day of deliveries as we delivered 40 quilts to Eastern Palliative Care.  They were very appreciative and asked me to sincerely thank everyone for donating so many beautiful quilts.

We also visited Life's Little Treasures who provide items to support 152 hospitals around Australia.  They distribute items to support families with premature babies or sick newborns and we donated 19 quilts,  2 blankets,  240 drawstring bags,  26 small knitted teddies, 26 knitted jackets,  70 beanies,  15 pair of booties,  1 pair of mittens and 6 nighties. They were also appreciative of all your donations.  They don't need tiny beanies, tiny booties and tiny jackets at the moment but need drawstring bags for their Reading Challenge which is held nationwide in September.

I've included a photo of my knitting from this week as I have been making use of every spare moment. I hope you're staying warm and enjoying your creating.

Hugs, Jan Mac xx
