On Tuesday we delivered 15 quilts to Eastern Palliative Care where they were very happy to receive them. Lorraine Bradley also donated 8 beautifully knitted premmie jackets for Life's Little Treasures.
Norma Aitken and Waverley Patchworkers donated 6 library bags, a bag of new slippers, some fabric, new books and fabric.
Wednesday we delivered 1 quilt for a 3 year Ukrainian girl as well as a bigger donation to Big Group Hug which is based in Bundoora and helps disadvantaged children.
We donated 16 knitted/crocheted blankets, 10 knitted teddies, 70 knitted beanies, 20 library bags, 20 drawstring bags, 5 scarves, a bag of new slippers, some hand knitted jumpers for toddlers, and new clothes.
They are also in need of baby's bibs, booties and beanies, as well as soap pouches, drawstring bags and clothes for children.
