From Farina in South Australia, we traveled up the Oodnadatta Track, along Lake Eyre, Australia's largest inland salt lake.
Some of the tracks had been closed due to excessive rain a week before we left so we were very happy to see that the roads had opened again.
There are still some parts of the Old Ghan railway remaining and this trestle bridge, on the south side of Oodnadatta is one of our favourites, although no longer in use.
We were very lucky to have lovely clear days with cooler nights but once we passed the frost areas the first two days, it wasn't too cold at night either.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Jan Mac
