There's been lots happening behind the scenes here, deconstructing vintage shredded blocks so I can use the fabric to repair some vintage quilts, and making plans for new projects. I also need to find time to finish some of my UFOs as well as more donation quilts.
My niece had her baby six months ago and I had made the baby quilt for her sister's baby but was too slow getting this one finished. Finally I decided to just get it done and today was the day. It's such a relief to finally have it finished. Four of my nieces have had babies in the past nine months and I make a baby quilt for each new baby and appliqué the baby's name on it. I think I'm going to have to make some in advance as the babies seem to be coming much more quickly now. Anyway it might be time to get some more finishes now while I'm on a roll.
That will depend on how much sleep I need as I'm working nights again this week.
Hugs, Jan Mac

Lovely quilt. I know just what you mean about procrastinating! I even wrote a blogpost entitled "Stop procrastinating - just do it!" quite recently.
