Delivery and Progress.

Today we donated 20 quilts,  11 knitted/crocheted blankets and a lovely warm shawl to the Alfred Hospital's Palliative Care Units and they're very appreciative of these for their clients. 

I've been busy knitting and this week I've been knitting custom made jumpers for these teddies as well as knitted baby's jackets and booties.  I'm also busy packing more donations and plan to deliver more very soon.

Lovely Arrivals.

Marita from P's and Q's has dropped off another 14 beautifully made quilts as well as a warm knitted blanket. 

Sue Taylor has donated another 2 beautifully crocheted blankets and a lovely warm shawl. 

Kathie another has sent another large parcel containing 11 lovely warm scarves, 2 beanies, 2 books, slippers, 2 baby wraps, baby onesies, and soap.

Beverley Brooks delivered 2 large bags containing 36 drawstring bags and 8 tote bags made by Gwenda Miller, 20 drawstring bags from Valerie Pell,  32 extra large bags, 20 large bags and 146 drawstring bags from Irene Ashcroft and 12 drawstring bags from Beverley.

Jenny Little and her aunt,  Heather,  donated these beautifully made quilts.  Jenny donated the first 4 and Heather donated 10.

Eileen Nash has donated another 20 crocheted/knitted blankets.

Yesterday we donated 10 more quilts to SECASA and Norma Aitken very kindly delivered them for us. 

I haven't been sewing much while I recover from a nasty cough and have mainly been knitting but I did manage to finish off these 3 lovely donated quilt tops as well as make the last one from squares cut from donated fabric. 

I hope to get more quilts packed and delivered soon as they are certainly needed with our cold weather here. Many thanks everyone for your generous donations.
