New Arrivals.

Ruth Mitchell has donated these 9 beautifully made quilts as well as  6 knitted baby's jackets and 40 development hearts.  These will all go to Life's Little Treasures. 








Phyllis Hoffman has donated 3 beautifully crocheted blankets,  2 cardigans and a pair of knitted socks.
Helen Moll from NSW has sent another large parcel containing 4 lovely quilt tops and a pile of QAYG blocks. 

Janet Kidson has been busy collecting teddy bears and Sally S. has knitted beautiful custom made jumpers for them and Kaye Hardman has kindly couriered them.

Joanna Moreland has sent 2 large parcels containing 6 beautifully made quilts in a variety of colours,  sizes and themes.

Back To Work.

I've had a lovely break in Morocco and will post some photos soon but in the meantime it's time to get back to work. 

Delys Rogers from WA has sent another large parcel containing a beautiful QAYG quilt,  a quilt top withfabric for backing and binding, some soft toys, 2 drawstring bags and some beautifully knitted beanies. 



Dorothy Duke donated 4 beautifully knitted blankets,  2 scarves,  a small pouches and some soap.

Beverley Brooks has delivered another large amount of donations including  175 drawstring bags,  47 large tote bags, Santa Sacks,  4 small pouches and a beautifully knitted baby's blanket. 


Jaia Butler from NSW has sent another large parcel containing 4 beautifully knitted baby's blankets as well as 11 knitted jumpers/ cardigans for children. 

The ladies from the Boronia Retirement Village have donated another 2 large knitted blankets. 
Kathie Williamson has sent another 2 large parcels containing  new socks and undies, tights, knitted beanies and scarves as well as soft toys.

Kaye Hardman delivered 2 large bags of new Backpacks as well as a large bag of new socks and undies.

Lots of Outgoings.


 It's been a busy week of donations being picked up with 17 lovely quilts and 15 beautifully knitted/crocheted blankets going to the Alfred Hospital's Palliative Care Units. 

Big Group Hug also sent their van which we packed to half full with 898 drawstring bags,  57 large and extra large drawstring bags,  28 blankets,  3 quilts,  173 soap pouches with soap,  38 filled pencil cases,  127 tote bags, over 100 teddy bears with custom made jumpers,  a box of light Backpacks, baby's bibs and burp cloths, boxes of handknits, and clothes, and boxes of soft toys and school supplies.

A Productive Week.

I seemed to have had more time for quilting during the week and managed to finish 7 donated quilt tops. Lots of people will enjoy their warm hugs and comfort.

Lots Of Donations.

Margo Barber from Tasmania has sent another large parcel containing a beautifully made QAYG quilt as well as 2 beautiful crocheted blankets. 
Jill Khong has donated 40 lovely Santa Sacks as well as 57 teddy bears with custom made jumpers. 


Jill also delivered 32 teddy bears with custom made jumpers from Lucy Peacock. 

June Wilson also delivered more lovely knitted and crocheted items from the Boronia Retirement Village.  They've been very busy and donated 2 more crocheted blankets,  as well as lots of knitted teddies,  beanies, scarves and fingerless gloves.
