Comings and Goings.

Today was a big day of deliveries with 45 quilts going to Eastern Palliative Care for their clients and they were very appreciative of receiving so many quilts.

We also delivered donations to Life's Little Treasures and we donated 49 quilts,  300 drawstring bags,  150 knitted beanies,  38 pair of booties,  4 baby's jackets,  7 knitted baby's blankets and 3 hearts. Making deliveries also gives me the opportunity to check what organisations are running low on and LLT said they need medium sized jackets,  beanies and booties as well as small knitted teddies and Christmas hats in all sizes. They are updating their website but the patterns can also be found at https://mariannaslazydaisydays.blogspot.com/2015/07/little-babbity-premature-baby-set.html

Annette Pascoe also dropped off 19 cute teddy bears and her lovely Mum's 5 knitted beanies and a scarf.
Many thanks everyone for generously donating your skills and time to make so many beautiful donations to help people in need.

The Weekly Wrap Up.

I have had another productive week and finished off all these donated quilt tops.

I added borders to the yellow and green top.
The bright top below was donated by Sue McPhee and I added borders as well.
This week we also donated 2 boxes containing school supplies,  175 drawstring bags and the donated reading glasses,  to Cricket Without Boundaries  and they will be delivering these donations to Sri Lanka to help people in need.

Many thanks everyone for your generous donations and support.  I'm still not accepting quilt tops, fabric or QAYG blocks as I still have plenty to  finish off.
