Busy Finishing Quilts.

I had a very productive weekend with lots of quilts finished. The first QAYG quilt was made from blocks donated by Sue Foster from Vic and it's a fabulous quilt for a male.
Ulla Rantakari from Finland sent the next set of QAYG blocks and they made a lovely quilt to be donated for a male.
Wendy Carter made 3 sets of QAYG blocks and this first one with red binding looks fabulous too.
Gil Wright from NSW very generously donated several lovely tops and this is one of them which has been finished and ready to be donated.

Dolores Sedore from Canada very generously donated 4 tops and this one is now quilted and looks lovely.
Anna Kok from Western Australia very generously donated the 3 jelly roll tops and they were have been beautifully quilted by Sharon Siacci of Beyond Meander Quilting.  Sharon's quilting really enhances Anna's beautiful piecing and they are going to make beautiful gift quilts .

Kim Court from Qld donated this beautifully crocheted blanket and it will be treasured by its recipient.
Bernice Park (Tas) sent 2 lovely children's tops, 5 large sets of binding , 20 QAYG blocks and 3 labels. I've already used some of the bindings which made my life much easier when getting these quilts finished.
Becky Conser from the US sent these 12 lovely 12.5 inch blocks which will make another lovely quilt as I have some on hand to combine with them.
Vic Textiles also very generously donated another roll of batting.
Thank you all so much for your support with this bushfire quilt appeal .

More Generous Quilters Donate.

Dorothy Ramage (Vic) donated these 8 fabulous quilts shown in the first 8 photos.

Dorothy's quilts will be treasured by their recipients and she is very generous to part with them.
The top shown below was donated by Dolores Sedore, from Canada, and I quilted it over the weekend.
Angela Van Der Linden donated the next 3 fabulous quilts .

Babs Talbot also donated 3 beautiful quilts.

Wendy Carter (Vic ) donated 3 sets of 35 QAYG blocks as well as binding and thread.
Ulla Rantakari from Finland is a long time supporter of Oz Comfort Quilts anc she has very kindly sent 35 QAYG blocks suitable for a male as well as 11 crocheted squares.
Fiona Lazenby from Vic has very generously donated more quilt labels which has also been a big help so I can label every quilt with it's maker.
Quilters are incredibly generous and I am very grateful for all of your support. I've been busy making contacts for distribution as well as dealing with the kids being sick. Then of course I  caught the head cold too, so I am having early nights to get over it, so not as much quilting as I would like but I'm starting to feel better.

More Donations Arrive.

Ann Grant from NSW is a long term supporter of Oz Comfort Quilts and she has very generously donated 2 beautiful quilts as well as 4 beanies.
Jacqui Piper of Qld, has very generously donated 6 quilts  and a beautiful seahorse cot sized top. Three of the quilts have boy themed fabric which will be very popular with young boys into skate boards etc.

Anne-Marie Ward from W.A. is another long time supporter of Oz Comfort Quilts and she has been very busy and sent 19 QAYG blocks, 25 crocheted squares  and a large number of orphan blocks.
Today I was busy pinning tops, quilting and binding so I will have more finishes to share tomorrow. I'm also making up kits of blocks as I have some sewing angels who are helping me by piecing tops from donated blocks, leaving me to concentrate on the quilting.
Many thanks for your help everyone.
